Your dressing size is based on the size of the lumps and bumps at your injection or insertion site. Measure the area around your lumps and bumps to choose a size from the table.
Treatment Area | Dressing Size |
---|---|
2.4 in x 1.34 in (Jumbo Paperclip) | Medium (2.4 in) |
4.7 in x 1.58 in (Deck of Cards) | Large (4.7 in) |
6.3 in x 1.77 in (iPhone X) | X-Large (6.3 in) |
Treatment duration
On average, we recommend a minimum of 90 days for treatment of existing scar tissue and LH.
The older the scar tissue and/or LH, the longer the treatment may take - evaluate the progression of your treatment to determine when recovery is complete.
Apply a dressing to the treatment area every 10 days until recovery of scar tissue and LH is complete.
After recovering from existing scar tissue and LH, we recommend using embrace® for Prevention to protect your injection or insertion sites from future damage.
