embrace is a dressing that should be applied to pump insertion or injection sites after using those sites to deliver insulin. embrace shrinks after application to create compression at and below the surface of the skin. When used preventatively, embrace can minimize scar tissue and lipohypertrophy (LH) formation. embrace can also reduce existing lumps of scar tissue and LH when worn over time.

If using embrace to prevent scarring and LH, we recommend treating on an ongoing basis for best results. If using embrace to treat existing scarring and LH, we recommend treating the area for a minimum of 90 days for best results. Typically, the older the scarring or LH, the longer it takes to treat.

Use embrace after injecting or inserting into a region for approximately 10 days. Always follow your physician’s recommendation for rotation. embrace medium is recommended to cover 3 pump insertion sites when spaced 2 inches apart (approximately 10 days of pump use), and embrace large is recommended to cover up to 40 injection sites for multiple daily injectors. If using embrace for prevention, you will need one box (3 dressings) per month - we recommend signing up for the monthly subscription as this will give you the best discount and the devices you need to prevent scarring & LH. If using embrace to treat existing scarring and LH, you will need at least 3 boxes of embrace (9 total dressings) per area that you are treating. Older scars and LH may require additional boxes for optimal results.

Remove your embrace® dressing when it begins to fall off naturally. This is typically around 10 days after application, but may depend on activity level and application location. Do not attempt to remove embrace® until it begins to fall off naturally, as this could cause skin irritation.

• DO NOT peel the dressing quickly as you would a band-aid. Peeling quickly can irritate the skin and cause blisters.
• It is helpful to remove the dressing in the shower or bath using warm water
  and soap.
• Remove the dressing the day before your next appointment or dressing change, or when the edges begin to lift away from the skin.
• Using a corner or edge, very slowly peel back the dressing back over itself. You can use your other hand to apply pressure to the skin as you remove the dressing.
• If any adhesive remains, remove it with baby oil or adhesive remover available in most pharmacies or stores.
• Wait at least 12 hours for the scar area and skin to rest before applying a new dressing.
  

Removing embrace carefully is important to prevent skin irritation. The medical grade skin adhesive on embrace is designed to stick to your skin, so slow, careful removal is important.

Yes, throughout the duration of wearing the dressing, as your skin moves under the dressing, small air pockets can occur. The dressing is flexible, making it comfortable to wear. As a result, wrinkles are the dressing conforming to your skin.

Yes, condensation is completely normal and often occurs after taking a shower or strenuous activity. If there is significant condensation under the dressing after showering, we recommend pressing the water out from under the dressing if possible for optimal wear time.

Yes! Some edge lift is natural. If more than ½-inch of the entire edge of the dressing begins to lift, it may be time to remove your dressing. If your dressing still feels tightly adhered to your skin, don’t force the removal. embrace continues to work over any area that it is adhered to.

When you purchase an embrace subscription to prevent scarring and LH, you will receive one month’s supply of embrace each month. We recommend signing up for the subscription to ensure you have a consistent supply of embrace

Yes, if you sign up for a subscription, it will automatically renew each month.

Your subscription will be delivered once per month.

Yes! While we recommend continuous use for best results when preventing scars and LH, we understand that life can be unpredictable and you may need to pause your subscription. You can pause your subscription or skip a month by logging into your Shopify account.

No, there is no additional charge for canceling your subscription.

You may initiate a return through your Shopify account within 60 days of purchasing embrace®. Upon return of unused product to Neodyne Biosciences, Inc., a refund will be issued. Refunds will only be provided for product that is unopened and unused. The refund request must be made within 60 days after purchase with proof of purchase.

Shipping speeds depend on where your ordering is being sent, but we typically ship your order within 1-2 days.

With a subscription, shipping is always free! If you complete a one-time purchase of embrace®, we charge a flat fee of $5 to cover shipping costs.
